Quality Performance Manager
Caroline joined Notaro Care Homes in March 2008 as Operations Manager and in 2011 became Quality Performance Manager to the group. Her successful career in care spans over 30 years and has seen Caroline hold a variety of senior positions.
Caroline is a registered nurse, completing her training at Frenchay Hospital. Once she had achieved her nursing qualifications, she took to working in elderly care as a nurse for over 20 years until she worked her way up to home manager running an ‘excellent’ service, a job she is extremely proud of. Caroline’s loyalty and devotion to the care sector saw her become a Regulation Inspector working for CSCI (now known as Care Quality Commission) a position she held for 3 years until she became Regulations Inspector in 2005 before finally joining Notaro Homes in 2008.
As Quality Performance Manager, Caroline line manages each of the home managers and is responsible for assessing each home to ensure they comply with the ‘Essential Standards of Quality and Safety’. She works very closely with the Operations Manager to ensure Notaro Care Homes achieves excellent outcomes and is involved in a diverse range of duties across the group.
Outside of work Caroline loves spending time with her family and her most recent family member, her granddaughter. She loves gardening, walking and holidays in the sun, as well as holidaying aboard Turkish gullet cruises.
Leila joined the company in 2005 as registered manager for Stuart House Residential Dementia Home. Her flourishing career started 24 years ago, when she held her first position as care assistant for a local provider. Leila started to climb the ladder, working for various companies including the NHS. She combined work with study and gained many qualifications along with way, including her Registered Managers Award and a Level 4 teaching qualification.
She says her reason for wanting to work within the sector was related to her own experiences as a child, which due to poor health led to many stays in hospital. Wanting to give something back, she started her journey towards becoming the successful manager she is today.
Leila is now Operations Manager for Notaro Care Homes. Her principal responsibility is to oversee the operations and financial budgets of each home and to ensure they are working efficiently in line with the ‘Essential Standards of Quality and Safety’ and the companies own policies and strategies.
Additionally she is responsible for outsourcing, implementing and managing the company’s training provision in line with government guidelines and the company’s own training and development strategy.
Outside of work she loves spending time with her family. Leila also has a love of motorbikes and can be seen riding around on her beloved Ducati Monster.
