Activities with The Prince’s Trust at Vane Hill
Vane Hill ARBD enjoy activities with the students from Prince’s Trust…
It was time to welcome another group of Prince’s Trust students to set up activities. (December 2017)
On their first day at Vane Hill, the students set up a general knowledge and tv/film picture quiz. Everyone was split into 4 groups; each group choosing a person to write down the answers. The winner won some chocolate.
The ever popular ‘killer pool’ was played the next day; each person has to pot a ball, if the player doesn’t, they loose a life the player with the most lives wins the game.
Finally residents & students went in the dining room to do a art & crafts day; making Christmas cards for friends and family.

The new group of Prince’s Trust students spent three days with Vane Hill. The visit is part of their 16 week training course. Therefore as part of their course, they host a variety of different events for Vane Hill.
The different events took on an Easter theme this time, with an Easter card making activity in the garden. They arranged a general knowledge quiz and played their favourite, ‘killer pool’…
Prince’s Trust Award Ceremony
Eight residents from Vanehill also attended the Prince’s Trust awards ceremony held by the Bridgwater college organisation. The awards were also attended by parents of the 8 students who had taken part in the 8 week work experience; some of which worked with Vanehill….
