Campania's Residents attend Bristol’s International Balloon Fiesta

The International Bristol Balloon fiesta is one the Europe’s largest outdoor events and even more amazingly it continues to be free admission for all visitors which Campania got to take advantage of.

Residents enjoyed a pit stop for a coffee and cigarette in the beautiful picturesque Windmill restraint in Portishead, the views out to sea were lovely. We then continued our onward journey to the Bristol for the Balloon Fiesta 2013 .

Residents were welcomed to the opening of the Balloon Fiesta this year, they enjoyed walking round all the different stalls and enjoyed tasting the free local produce a little something of what they fancied. They also enjoyed taking a stroll to the launch field to watch the balloon tethering and finding all the different Balloons in our programmes spotters guide.

Later in the afternoon the group found a comfortable relaxing spot to sit and enjoy a picnic.

“We had a wonderful day” said Chloe, activity coordinator for Campania. Our Residents really enjoyed everything about the fiesta, you can see for yourself by some of the comments they made”
