Vane Hill ARBD Home take a day trip to Dartmoor

 

Vane Hill ARBD Residents together with Home Manager Steve Todd and Support Worker Paul load up their mini bus and car with packed lunches and set off on the hour journey for a day trip to Dartmoor.

When they arrived in Dartmoor, they split into groups and the residents that wanted to take part in the 5 mile trek along the moors, went with Steve and the other residents went with Support worker Paul to nearby Princetown to the HM Dartmoor Prison Museum to learn about one of the world’s most notorious jails.Later, everyone met up to enjoy their packed lunches and headed back to a cafe in Torquay for a nice hot cup tea before returning home.
