Vane Hill ARBD share their recent events…

Residents, Amanda, Sandra, Gwyn, and Richard together with Manager Steve went to Moon Ridge Farm, Newton St Cyers, to pick up 4 chickens for their little farm. Most of all to keep cockerel Ernie company.

The residents chose the chickens they would like and also gave them each a name; Wonda, Tricky Dicky, Welshie and Jammie dodger. Their new family members have settled in well…

It was time for Vane Hill’s annual Dartmoor walk. Steve led the group 5 miles across footpaths and moorland. The weather was great and all enjoyed a well earned break with a picnic…

Vane Hill resident, Mark, gets a birthday surprise at their local cafe in Torquay. Staff presented mark with a small cake and candles. Mark’s fellow friends/residents from Vane Hill also attended…

Vane Hill have three Irish residents and each year they decorate the home with all St Patrick’s day decorations. Irish music played on the CD player, they also had traditional Irish stew for lunch with cakes and biscuits with green icing on and green jelly. Support Workers, Eden and Paul, put on an afternoon of activities with Irish quizzes, word searches and games…
