ARBD Residents have a ‘flipping’ good Pancake Day

Vane Hill residents got busy in the kitchen making the Pancake day batter.

Then they each in turn poured a ladle of pancake mix in the frying pan to make 24 pancakes for each resident!
Each were asked if they were brave enough to toss the pancake?? Only resident Dennis Smurphy was brave enough.

Serenita residents have been cooking up a storm his week.

Three residents have begun a cooking course with North Somerset Council, and are loving it. They prepared a meal for twenty people last Tuesday, and compliments were passed on to the ‘chefs’

Pancake Day was an all day event with a word challenge. How many words could residents create from the letters of ‘SHROVE TUESDAY.’  Consequently they made over 40 words!!

Residents then made pancakes for the whole home with loads of yummy toppings. Residents then attended a special event at St. Paul’s church this afternoon.  As a result  there were more pancakes were involved, with entertainment and bric a brac stalls.
