Vane Hill residents enjoy a weekend away in Exmouth

Some of the residents living at Vane Hill care home have packed their bags as they stayed in Exmouth last weekend to enjoy a break. The trio from Vane Hill, in Torquay, had a wonderful time enjoying new experiences.

After settling in their caravan at the Sandy Bay holiday village in Exmouth. Residents were keen to take in local areas of interest such as Bicton botanical gardens and motor museum as well as visiting Exeter to see the Coca-Cola truck and grab a free can of Coca-Cola, then off to the Sandy Bay birds of prey park where all three had a one to one handling session with 5 birds of prey.
On Sunday they joined the Remembrance Day; celebrating 100 years since the ending of the Great War.

All in all a great weekend and many thanks to the Dream Away foundation for the hire of the caravan.
