Ilfracombe holiday for Campania & Serenita

Residents at Serenita and Campania ARBD Homes enjoyed a fun packed, long weekend in Ilfracombe

12 residents plus staff packed their bags and set off on Friday 12th June for the two hour journey to Ilfracombe, North Devon.

Arriving to their holiday park, they stayed in chalets where everyone contributed to the self catering life skills and communal meal times.

Everyone enjoyed the trips out  that included a sunset BBQ on the beach, Fish and chips by the riverbank, photo taking of the stunning scenery in the area and the Lynton Cliff Railway; a unique Victorian watered powered lift, that is one of South West’s top attractions. The renowned funicular cliff lift took the residents up a 862 feet long track from Lynmouth at the foot of the cliffs to Lynton floating 500 feet above. Once at the top they enjoyed stunning views of Exmoor and the North Devon Coastline.

They also enjoyed live cabaret, bingo and quizzes in the evenings, along with swimming in the indoor pool.

All had an amazing time and are already talking about the next holiday destination !!
