Vintage Bus Trip
Vintage Bus Trip on 20th August
Notaro ARBD Care is delighted to have linked together with Engage4life, a group of young people aged between 15-17 years, taking part in a government scheme called The National Citizen Service. The aim of the scheme is to help the community and help build the future of young people’s lives.
Together we have organised to take a group of residents from Notaro ARBD Care Homes on a coastal day trip to remember. We have organised a vintage bus as a nostalgic element to the trip. Our day will start at Serenita in Weston-Super Mare, where we will collect our groups in our vintage bus; we will then drive along the coast to Portishead, while playing our specially designed playlist of past and present music. We will stop for lunch, so that all can swap their stories. Then we will return to Weston and visit the Pier to enjoy the new attractions.
Engage4Life has chosen to do this project, because they feel that a day out with the Notaro ARBD Care Home’s residents will not only help them understand more about each other’s lives, but also to make other young people aware of ARBD Care.
The day trip will take place on Monday 20th, so please look out for our vintage bus and be sure to give us a wave.
Photos and highlights of the day will follow in our next news update.
