Continued success and growth since 1989

Notaro ARBD Care, part of the N. Notaro Homes Group has been operating since 1989. The company’s roots were formed supporting people living with conditions bought about by alcohol consumption. 30 years on and our continued success and growth comes down to the hard work and talent within our staff teams. Our staff are the cornerstone of all that we do across our homes, giving themselves daily to care and support a wide variety of care needs, at times complex and challenging.   We believe that you reap what you sow and our investment in our people is duly repaid by their loyalty and commitment to the job; it is a true testament to them, that Notaro ARBD and Notaro Care Homes is the success it is today.

Working for Notaro ARBD is completely different from working in a nursing home.

Our main priority is to support individuals to regain living skills and promote their independence.  Supporting people daily to enable and encourage recovery and increase the chances of them moving back within their own communities.  However, this is not always possible and for some, we are a home for life.

The daily life of a support worker is unique, as is every resident you support.

You will be responsible for engaging our residents daily to live an active, fulfilled life whilst promoting postive outcomes and creating a happy and friendly environment.  Sometimes you may face behaviours that on occasion can become challenging, but with the correct training and induction programme and support from your fellow team, this is something you are confident to manage.

Across the 3 ARBD homes, you will encounter strong collaborative teams working for positive outcomes. Over the years, our teams have been nominated for care awards across the South West.  This is a testament of how hard they all work and the successful outcomes they achieve.

Working for Notaro ARBD Care starts with your induction training and the care certificate (unless you have achieved this already and are able to evidence your achievement).

You will receive ongoing training throughout your career and supervisions with your team leaders, to enable and support you to grow within the organisation. Employee benefit schemes, ongoing training, free uniforms and company pensions are the additional benefits to add to this exciting, dynamic support provision.

Notaro ARBD Care is at the forefront of supporting individuals living with consumption of alcohol, be part of our incredible teams and be rewarded with helping to change someone’s life.
