Serenita activities coordinator, Loretta, has created individual ‘lockdown survival kits’ for each resident.

In-between her shifts, while at home, Loretta made up the ‘lockdown survival kits.’ Each one is tailored to suit individual resident’s interests; in a bid to keep spirits up while they stay in the home.
The kits include items such as a homemade face mask, sweets, toiletries, to a fun, competitive quiz. And together with a thoughtful letter from Loretta and on behalf of all the Serenita team.

An excerpt from the letter;

‘…we want to keep you all and ourselves as well as our families safe as we can. So as a thank you for helping us to achieve this, I thought a gift was appropriate. And have put together this ‘lockdown survival kit.’ I have included some things that I know you might like; as I have spent time with each one of you.’

Loretta, Serenita’s activities coordinator, said:

“During these uncertain times, we must stay safe by staying at home. Which I can appreciate is challenging for everyone, particularly our residents. So I wanted to give them each a gift to thank them and let them know that we are in this together.”

Milan, Serenita Care Home Manager, said:

“Loretta’s thoughtful gesture of creating these individual kits is to be applauded, and I thank her for her efforts which have been greatly received by our residents.”
